Gingerbread Huis

Take a tour

Description

Gingerbread Huis (sleeps 1-6) is the sweetest, cosiest cabin in the Veluwe.  In the main house is the living/dining/ kitchen area with open stairs leading upto the Nestje, a double bedroom in the rafters with a skylight to watch the stars at night and the trees in the morning.  Downstairs is the second double bedroom, with shelves full of books, toys and board games.  The bathroom has a great shower, a sink and toilet.  3 steps from the front door is the Little Shed, a third double bedroom with gorgeous Moroccan sink. There is room to place our travel cot in any of the bedrooms. With 5 radiators in the living room alone, and a central heating system controllable by phone, you will always be warm in the Gingerbread Huis.

Set in 6000m2 of our private forest, which it shares with Maja's Hideaway, the Gingerbread Huis is perfect for couples and friends looking for a peaceful nature break during the week, and families and larger groups of friends over the weekends and holidays.

This magical cabin is a wonderful base from where to just spend time in our forest, or explore the national forest which our trees merge into self-laid hiking and biking routes from the gate, or visit the Hoge Veluwe or Veluwezoom National Parks.
